I have come to let you know that God is not a wicked God. Whoever told you that He is wicked, I am here to prove such a person wrong; I have come to let you know that this year 2006, my God will be good to you; my God will show you his kindness; you will not beg for bread this year. This year, doors shall be opened in ministry, in business, doors shall be opened anywhere you go, in the name of Jesus.
The scripture says in 2nd Samuel chapter 9: 3 – 8, “And the King said, is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may showed the kindness of God unto him?” Not the kindness of David, but the kindness of God. I have heard people preach that David showed him kindness. No, he has been on the throne for years, why didn’t he show him few years or years back? The scripture says, ‘The Kindness of God’. That means that when God shines upon you, men shall shine for you this year. When God decides to favor you this year, those who did not like your face, will begin to like your face; when God decides to shine the countenance of His face upon you, everything that was dead, everything that was buried, shall resurrect.
“That I may show him the kindness of God” May you experience the kindness of God this year. God is kind; he is a good God. This year, he will make you smile. You have cried before, you have labored before; God says, ‘this year, I want to be kind to you’ Psalm 103 says, “His tender mercies and loving kindness…” This year, God will show you loving kindness. This means the kindness that is mixed up with love; it is a concoction of divine favor. It will come upon you in the morning; it will come upon you in the afternoon, and it will come upon you in the night. God will show you His kindness in politics; He will show you kindness in business, in ministry, in school; when you are in the market, God will show you kindness; when you go to the embassy, when you are walking on the road; when you want to buy a car, when you are looking for a land to buy, God will show you His kindness.
“The kindness of God”! It was not the kindness s of David; David was an enemy to the house of Saul, this man we are going to look at is the grand child of Saul. Do you know what it means for David to show kindness to the grand child of his political enemy, after all that Saul had done to him? It is called the kindness of God. That means people will be kind to you, and when they think about it later, they will not know why. They will give you money or contract that they will try to count for later. God will show you kindness this year.
“And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan had yet a son” (verse 3b) In other words, a remainder son. Maybe in your family, of all that has happened, you are the remainder one; some of you are the only surviving sons or daughters of your family, and they are trying to kill you too. Why do we gather you every first Saturday of the month, to anoint you? So that throughout the month, Satan will not ‘annoy’ you. I say the devil will not annoy you; by the power of the Holy Ghost, you are here for spiritual check-up. People go for medical check up; I say you are here for spiritual check up. Everything in your body; in your spirit; in your soul; in your family; everything in your finances that God did not plant, shall be rooted up by the power of the Holy Ghost. The bible says, “…Jonathan has yet a son which is lame on his feet” There are some of you reading this message, for many years you have had speed limits; spiritual ‘road safety corps’ had placed speed limits on your feet, you cannot exceed a certain limit in your finances; in your business; in your ministry, etc., but today, the Lord says I should anoint you and wish you Gods speed. Its in the bible, this year you will pursue, you will overtake, and you will recover everything that was stolen from you. Speed is coming upon your feet; in your business, I see speed, your ministry and your business will grow with speed. Receive your speed today. You will never be weary, you will never be slow, you will never be lacking behind. The power of God is coming on you now; there is anointing to overtake, there is anointing to recover all the years that the cankerworm, and the caterpillar had eaten from you.
“And the king said unto him, where is he?” (Verse 4) This year, they are going to look for you. The Governor will look for you this year. The President will look for you this year. Armed robbers will not look for you this year; witches and wizards will not look for you this year, Police will not look for you this year. God is asking ‘where is he?’ You have been hidden for years. You are talented, you are anointed, but you have been hidden; some spiritual covering has covered you from being seen, from being limelighter; you have been like a candle under a bushel; your spiritual life; your star; your destiny has been covered; that is why you couldn’t have a breakthrough. You have been covered for years. Hear this prophecy, ‘this year they will say, where is he?’ When they are looking for somebody to send abroad for training, they will say where is he? “And Ziba said unto the king, behold he is in the house of Mashir, the son of Ammiel in Lodebar” I want to tell you the meaning of Mephibosheth, the meaning of Ziba, the meaning of Mashir, and the meaning of Lodebar; because the bible says his name was Mephibosheth, he had somebody who took care of him called Ziba, he was staying in the house of Mashir, in a village called Lodebar. I want to show you the meaning to see how bad somebody’s life can be, but how kind God can be. I am preaching this message to somebody whom the devil has told that you are bound, down and out; that there is hope for you; there is no man that cannot be saved. There is no dead man that cannot resurrect; there is no bad business that cannot be revived; there is no sick man that cannot be healed, every sickness today shall be healed, in the name of Jesus.
Mephibosheth means shame; the bible says when he was born, the father Jonathan was killed with Saul in the war; and the house girl, the nurse who was taking care of him, was afraid and took him in her hand to run for safety; the two of them fell and the baby broke his legs; he broke his legs and was not walking fine, so the house girl called him shame; ‘shame unto you, your parents are dead and you are crippled; you will become nothing in life…’ And then they asked a man whose name was Ziba to take care of him; Ziba means no progress; so a man called no progress was to take care of another called shame. They took him to the house of another person whose name was Mashir. Mashir means slavery; so ‘no progress’ took ‘shame’ to the house of ‘slavery’ and he stayed in a village called Lodebar. Lodebar means dry place, where hope is lost. So no progress carried shame ran to the house of slavery in the dry place. This was how hopeless this man’s story was. I have come to let you know today that no matter how hopeless your hope case is, I don’t care who is laughing at you, I don’t care about your weakness; I don’t care about your disability; I don’t care what people are saying; they say you will never become anything, shame, no progress, slavery, dry place; get ready for a miracle this year. Your name is about to be transferred from the list of poor people to that of millionaires; your name is about to move from slavery to kingship, you are about to move from shame to honor, you are about to move from no progress to progress; from demotion to promotion, from the back to the front, and from down to up.
There are things that happen to you in life and people say ‘shame’ You know there are some people that wait to mock you. Know that in this life, everybody must have enemies, even if you walk straight and not looking for trouble, they will call you a stick. There is nothing you can do so you will not have enemies, if you like be very quiet, they will call you “moomoo” or a pretender; but when you talk, they call you “amebo, basket mouth” Today, God will show you kindness; in your family, the Lord shall be kind to you. You that woman that your husband does not have time for anymore, he does not even look at you; the Lord says, he is going to do another wedding in your life this year, I say that man will reunite with you, spirit soul and body this year. We rededicate that marriage this year. I see the glory of God upon your life, any other woman that has turned your husband’s face, we turn his face back to you; they shall not steal his heart; wherever they have planted his heart, we command it back to you, in Jesus name. A lady dated another woman’s husband, and consulted a witch-doctor to bewitch this man so he would never desire his wife anymore. The witch arranged a juju with a padlock, to which they made an invocation and locked it; then they went to a river and threw away the keys to this padlock. Live story! Thanks be to God, the man happened to come under the anointing of God in my life. The Holy Ghost revealed it and the lady confessed; we broke the power, and from that moment, this man saw his wife for the first time after years of marriage. He was like ‘ah, are you this beautiful? I never saw you, or the real you’.
There are some of you here, or reading this message, your business Letter Heads or Business name was taken somewhere and locked up; that is why no matter how connected you are, you cannot receive a job because you have been locked up. There are some ladies whose wombs have been locked up; there are many children in your womb; but somehow, every month they monitor you, and you can never miss your period; because there are spirits from the water, they are mermaid spirits, that monitor your productivity and fertility; but today I hear the voice of God say you are getting pregnant, you are going to deliver your child. Some of you, there are spiritual cobwebs and robs that have barricaded you from entering into your destiny. You are talented, you are anointed, you are intelligent, people know you to be very good, but nothing good is happening to you, because your life is full of shame, you have been carried into slavery, and you have been kept in a dry place, a spiritually dry place; that is why money is not in your pocket. How can a handsome man like you not have money? Today, I take away that dryness. You will not borrow this year, if you borrow this year, you are borrowing from a big bank for a big project. You will borrow from a consortium of banks; you will create a business pandemonium, not overdraft. There are two kinds of borrowing in the bible, there was a man, a prophet, who had small mentality; he borrowed and died. When Elisha came to pray for the widow, he said ‘go and borrow’ Remember, the husband borrowed and died; but Elisha said, the secret to this family’s prosperity is still in borrowing, ‘go and borrow, but borrow not a few’ Elisha said there is anointing to borrow in this family, your husband was not intelligent, he got overdraft; he said, ‘madam, borrow vessels not a few’ In the region of $15 billion. Small borrowing is returned in thirty (30) days. $15 billion borrowing is returned in seven (7) to ten (10) years or even more. I am a banker by profession, and I tell you that Fifteen Thousand Naira borrowing is returned in two to four weeks, and if you do not return it within this time, the consequence is usually not sweet. For Fifteen billion borrowing, nobody brings police into the matter, the bank manager will come to your house to drink coffee. They cannot talk to you anyhow because out of heartbreak, you may collapse and die, and their money is gone; so they take it gently with you. They may even be taking you for medical check up from time to time. The MD will visit you; the manager will visit you, and when they are talking to you, they do not shout, even when you ignore them. When they hear you have malaria, come and see visitation; they are not visiting you because you are sick and they love you so much, they come because if you go, the bank is closed, so you see the MD coming bringing hampers in Christmas, begging you please, please, don’t die we love you.
I prophesy that there shall be no dryness in your life this year; no borrowing around town in your life this year. When you pass on the streets, you become news. Today, your life shall make news in town, you are coming out of Lodebar, you are coming out of that dry place, you are coming out of that sickness, you are coming out of your old life; you are going to make impact, and you are going to excel this year. One day, you will hear your appointment on the National Network News. You will not miss the opportunities again; no door shall be closed against you again; this is your year of open doors.
“And the king said unto him, where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar; Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar” (Verses 4-5) You will park to your house this year. He said, fetch him out of somebody’s house, out of being a tenant. I don’t know how you read and interpret the bible; I say he moved him from the house to another house. This year, you are going to move from that house to another house, by the power of the Holy Ghost; you are moving from that house, the house of Machir, you are going to your own house; if you are already in your house, you are parking to your estate, or mansions.
In verse 6, the bible says, “Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face and did reverence. And David said Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!” You will worship God this year. Brother, there are some things God will do for you, you cannot stand and wave your hands, you will fall to your face and do reverence, because you will look at what God has done and you will compare it to the small you, and it will shake you off your feet. There are things God will do, you don’t just sit down and say, ‘I just wanna say Baba oh…’ When Mephibosheth entered his new house, from Lodebar, he entered the palace, he fell on his face. This year, God will surprise you, God will flabbergast you. He fell on his face. Brother, when you see the car you will drive this year, police will not be able to stop you. There are some cars policemen do not stop; when you come with your old tuke-tuke, a Police constable will look at the car and you behind the wheel, and issue a very hash command, ‘common park that car there, you are a criminal’ While they are embarrassing you, some cool Lincoln Navigator car comes on the same road with good music; when the assistant commissioner of police sees the man, he gives complements and says, ‘oga, your boys dey for road oh’ but you have been there for two hours showing one receipt or the other.
I want you to imagine how it must have been for Mephibosheth when he came from the village, to town and into a mansion he never dreamt of seeing the inside talk less of living in it as his own for life. A hopeless and shameful cripple; Sister, your children are coming this year; on the day of dedication, you will carry the child, instead of just standing, you will fall, you will do obeiscience. You will prostrate because the enemy has been frustrated. If you prostrate before your God, he will frustrate your enemies. Get that formula right, when you want to go to a big battle, stop sitting in your palour and crossing your legs, fall on your face before the Lord. If you lie down before God, when you stand up, you will be greater than your enemies.
“And David said unto him, fear not, I will show you kindness, I will restore all your father’s land, you will eat bread continually at my table” The Lord is saying to someone here, or reading this message: (1) Fear not. (2) I will show you kindness. (3) I will restore all your lands, your houses, entitlements, members, favor. God says, ‘I am restoring all to you today; all the years that cankerworms, caterpillars, palmerworms and the locusts have eaten from you, today it shall be restored a hundred-fold. (4) you will eat bread continually with me at my table. Even if the bread is not sweet, that you are sitting with the king… This year, you are going to eat with kings. You will not eat with mere men, you will dine with leaders, political leaders, religious leaders, international leaders, get ready for it this year.
Fear not; this year, what you feared will fear you. God will show you kindness in Jesus name.
